The Oaks is an acute care accredited hospital, treating the whole person, operated by St. Joseph's General Hospital Elliot Lake. It is comprised of two departments: Withdrawal Management Services and Camillus Treatment Programs. Oaks Department services are supported and partially funded by The Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term Care via the Local North East Health Integration Network.
Withdrawal Management Services offers an eclectic treatment model, tailored to individual client needs. Medical consultant on site; practicing medicine since 1981 and is an expert in the field of addiction treatment and recovery.
Limited tapering services available for opiate / opioid addiction. Limited Suboxone stabilization through medical addiction consultant. Withdrawal Management Services have been providing quality care for over 25 years.
The Camillus Treatment Department is abstinent based Minnesota Model Treatment which includes: bio/psycho/social, spiritual, relapse prevention, aspects of harm reduction and structured treatment in a group therapy approach.
The Camillus Department opened its doors in 1984 and has over 35 years’ experience in helping people and families recover from addiction.
Both Withdrawal Management and Camillus Departments offer Ward, Semi Private and Private accommodations.
