FOR CAMILLUS CENTRE
The Ministry of Health and Long Term Care mandates a standardized process of application for all drug and alcohol treatment agencies across the province of Ontario. Our 3 Step Process involves :
- Completion of Standardized GAIN Q3-MI ON
- Initial Contact and Screening
- Intake Assessment.
All clients seeking treatment must have a standardized assessment completed. The completed assessment summary is sent to Camillus Centre and the Intake Reception completes a short telephone screening and schedules a telephone appointment to speak with the Intake Worker. The intake worker obtains more detailed information about the client and provided there are no concerns, the Intake Worker will offer clients the earliest available treatment date.
The Drug and Alcohol Helpline www.drugandalcoholhelpline.ca or 1-800-565-8603 provides free information about drug and alcohol addiction services in Ontario and locations where to have assessments completed.
