Withdrawal Management Services

Withdrawal Management Services offers an eclectic treatment model, tailored to individual client needs. Medical consultant on site; practicing medicine since 1981 and is an expert in the field of addiction treatment and recovery.

Withdrawal Management Services have been providing quality care for over 25 years.

Withdrawal Management Services is an accredited 12 –bed department, offering non-medical, crisis/withdrawal, detoxification and stabilization programs to patients 16 years of age or older. Oversight of this department is provided by Dr. Stanley Shapiro M.D. C.C.F.P. (Addiction Specialist).

Potential patients must be medically and psychiatrically stable. We accept referrals from hospitals, physicians, individuals, either by phone or in person. Withdrawal Management Services is a co-ed facility and length of stay is based on patient need and bed availability.

Tapering Program is a limited service offered by the WMS, this program offers medically assisted tapers under the supervision of our medical consultant. Individuals dependent on opiates (ie: Methadone, Oxycontin, Heroin) and want to taper off of opiates should contact our Tapering Program Booking Clerk to inquire about eligibility and availability for this program.

There is a user cost associated with the Suboxone Tapering Service, this is an administrative fee. The tapering program booking clerk can be contacted at 705-848-2129 ext 301 on Thursdays Only. Tapering program office hours are on Thursdays from 8:00am to 12:00pm & from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.

Camillus Treatment Department

The Camillus Treatment Department is abstinent based Minnesota Model Treatment which includes: bio/psycho/social, spiritual, relapse prevention, aspects of harm reduction and structured treatment in a group therapy approach.

The Camillus Department opened its doors in 1984 and has over 35 years’ experience in helping people and families recover from addiction.

Both Withdrawal Management and Camillus Departments offer Ward, Semi Private and Private accommodations.
