
Clinical Pharmacist/ Pharmacy Manager

Required Education and Licensing
- Bachelor of Science or PharmD Degree in Pharmacy
- Current registration in good standing with Ontario College of Pharmacists
Preferred Skills/Abilities/Knowledge

- Demonstrated ability to be self-directed and motivated with excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent clinical, written, and verbal communication skills
- In depth knowledge of electronic order entry system
- High level of computer proficiency in data bases, QUILL, Microsoft applications, and Meditech
- Working knowledge of modern hospital care, Automatic Dispensing Units, Antimicrobial Stewardship, and drug therapy
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Ability to meet the physical and sensory demands of the job
- Knowledge of current evidence-based, best practice pharmacotherapeutics and pharmacokinetics and their applications to patient-centered care
- Ability to supervise, lead, coach, and mentor
Skills and Abilities Considered an Asset
- Bilingual
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in a hospital pharmacy setting, preferred
- Post-graduate Pharmacy Residency Program (ACPR)
- Oncology experience
- Demonstrated positive work record and good attendance
