Laboratory Assistant – Part-Time
Required Qualifications:
- Successful completion of a Phlebotomy Technician course (Candidates willing to complete the two-day Phlebotomy training before starting the role will also be considered).
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate of Medical Science/Technology Program or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician (Assistant)
Abilities/Skills/Knowledge:

- Extensive computer competency in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent organizational, time management and record-keeping skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to deal with public/patients on specimen collection
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Assets:
- Bilingual
- Excellent attendance record (records will be reviewed)
- Experience in Meditech software application(s)
- Experience in Phlebotomy
- Experience in Electrography
Salary:
- $23.983 to $29.981 (hourly)
