Bill Payments
During your visit/stay, you may incur some additional cost not covered by the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP), or your insurance provider.
Some common costs not covered by OHIP:
- Ambulance
- Crutches
- Special Feature Lens
Uninsured services and bill payments can be paid in person upon discharge in the Business Office. We accept cash, cheque, money order, payment by Debit or Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard) during business hours.
If payments are not received on discharge an Invoice will be mailed.
Business Office Hours
Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
After Hours – Saturday – Sunday and holidays
*Invoice is required* – Payments can be made at Switchboard located at the front Entrance outside of Office hours.
For your convenience, payments can also be made:
- By mailing a cheque or money order to St. Joseph’s General Hospital Elliot Lake
- Over the phone by calling (705) 848-7182 Ext 2422 during business hours (Visa or Mastercard)
- You may also drop off payment (cheque/money order) at Switchboard located at the Front Entrance
