Gynecology
Dr. Stephen Morris has been serving the community of Elliot Lake since 2017. Since his arrival he has been instrumental in providing access to and advancing gynecological and obstetrical care for our patients.
Originally from Sudbury, Dr. Morris obtained his M.D. at the University of Toronto (2010). He then went on to complete a residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Toronto (2015) and has practiced at HSN as an OBGYN since 2015.
Dr. Morris has a primary practice in Sudbury and does clinical outreach and surgeries at SJGHEL. With a strong interest in Minimally-Invasive Gynecologic surgery he is focused on improving Outpatient Laparoscopic Hysterectomy rates at HSN. He is a consultant for Hologic, a surgical equipment company in the gynecologic surgery realm, and advocates for improvements to care for mothers and babies.
