Patients admitted to the Camillus Department can expect to:
- Be involved in group therapy (not individual counseling)
- Participate in all aspects of the program
- Receive and give pertinent feedback within the group process
- Follow a daily schedule
- Express and work on feelings, as treatment at Camillus is an experiential process
- Receive exposure to 12-Step meetings
- Provide regular and random urine screen samples
- Luggage and personal belongings search required at admission, as well as possible future random room and discharge searches
- Receive orientation sessions highlighting guidelines
- Take medications as prescribed
- Maintain all aspects of one’s health (i.e. monitoring blood sugar levels, blood pressure etc.)
- Limited internet and mobile device usage
